Product Design: Firangi Backpack By Bombay Trooper.

Designed this Firangi Backpack for an online fashion brand, Bombay Trooper. The Story: A traveler from Europe lands up a small artisanal village in western Rajasthan where they are spinning a traditional handloom and creating vibrant patterns on a fabric through complicated “coding”, similar to a computer code which, when compiled, outputs a particular shape, colour or a design. This traveler who also happens to be a computer programmer joins hands with the locals to create a backpack that is a striking amalgamation of sophisticated European design with a vibrancy of Indian ethnic fabrics. This is a story of our new series of bags we named – The Firangi. The Firangi series comes in two variants – Backpack and Messenger Bag.
